Under Islam, a “ceasefire” (called a “hudna”) is temporary and in no way, shape or form should it ever be conflated with “peace.” Under the Islamic Republic of Iran’s own doctrine — and by extension all of their terrorist proxies — peace with Israel is expressly forbidden and any “ceasefire” is nothing more than an illusion of relative calm in order to provide the enemies of Israel enough time to regroup and rearm for the next battle against the Jewish state.
